Applicants are encouraged to include in their cover letter information about how they will further this goal.Posting SummaryServe as a liaison between the research team and the agricultural community, to promote the programs and research conducted by the Northwest Crops and Soils team. Develop, coordinate, implement, and evaluate outreach education and research provided to the local farming community in the areas of crop, soil, and nutrient management, while also supporting he Northwest Crops and Soils team in helping to disseminate information about research and program activities. Collaborate with the Northwest Crops and Soils team to help evaluate research objectives and generate reporting and outreach materials related to sustainable agriculture professional development programming. Assist internal and external project manager on collaborative projects and events; manage internal communications and assist with the promotion, testing, and training of support tools.Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years’ experience related to outreach education and agriculture and/or sustainable farming practices. Seeking an effective verbal communicator with strong writing and editing skills, including grant writing experience.
