The Proposal Writer should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly driven. Our team is growing quickly, and our RFP and marketing volume are high - we require a candidate with the motivation to succeed and a passion to excel. lease respond with a cover letter that includes salary requirements, a writing sample, and a resume.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Writes, edits, proofreads, formats, and prepares proposals and bidsAnalyzes Request for Proposals (RFP) to identify requirements for assigned proposalDevelops proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives, deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluationAbility to break down large amounts of information into digestible contentMeets deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approvalEnsures compliance, completeness, and consistent messaging throughout the proposalDevelops, edits, proofreads, and prepares copy for marketing collateral, blog posts, presentations, email blasts, social media, and other communication documentsWorks in conjunction with other members of the marketing team to ensure the content aligns with the overall strategy

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications, or similar field preferred2-4 years of experience in writing, editing, and producing copy as part of a creative or marketing teamExperience in responding to RFPsExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an ability to grasp and communicate conceptsOrganizational skills, excellent attention to detail, accuracy, timeliness, experience managing projects to completion, and ability to prioritize a mustAbility to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environmentExcellent computer skills, including all MS Office applications such as Publisher, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelDisplays enthusiasm to support the team whenever necessary - sometimes beyond normal tasks or work hours
