Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience:

Five or more years of experience in a project management role within a marketing/communications agency or team. Previous experience with organizing creative workflow, scheduling staff and contractor resources, and leading highly visible marketing and communications initiatives required.Position Summary: Supports the Corporate Communications function and strategic initiatives that support Blattner's long-term objectives and growth. Collaborates with internal clients, department staff, Corporate Communications leadership to ensure that project resources, deliverables, and outcomes are clearly defined, organized and available to the project team. Organizes and maintains a Corporate Communications operating cadence to ensure visibility to current and future priorities within the department and across the enterprise. Advances department processes and procedures to align best practices and standards with the growing team's dynamics and needs. Interfaces with vendors and freelance resources to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.Essential Job FunctionsOrganizes and maintains a Corporate Communications calendar that includes daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for the team; give visibility to capacity, timing and prioritization of work. Collaborates with internal clients and department staff to ensure that all project resources, deliverables, and outcomes are clearly identified, organized and available to the project team. Partners with Corporate Communications leadership to regularly assess team capacity, tools, processes, and performance. Provides visibility to project progress, obstacles and challenges. Uses performance metrics to ensure efficient and effective department performance. Ensures department processes and procedures are documented, up-to-date and available to team members and clients. Communicates and advocates for department processes, practices and desired outcomes with team members and clients. Leads highly visible, cross functional, multi-faceted Corporate Communications initiatives (e.g. major area within a department function, multiple workstreams, technical, moderate/large budget, 6-12-month timeframe). Defines project scope with input from functional leaders; identifies and gains alignment on project objectives, scope, timing, and resources. Manages project management tools, practices and processes that organizes the work, tracks and documents key deliverables and business impact.
