Hiring Salary Range: $60,000-$65,000

About UMOM New Day Centers: Founded in 1964, UMOM is Arizona's largest provider of services for families experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to end family homelessness by restoring hope and rebuilding lives. With an annual operating budget of $20 million dollars, UMOM provides shelter, supportive services, and housing programs to families and individuals experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County. UMOM serves over 15,000 unique individuals across all our services annually, including those families receiving support at the Family Housing Hub, Maricopa County's family coordinated entry system.Position Description: The Marketing Manager is both a storyteller and a project manager, responsible for creating content and managing projects related to UMOM's brand, marketing, and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement Strategic Marketing & Communications: Execute the organization's integrated marketing and communications plan to strengthen brand identity and increase visibility across key stakeholder audiences

· Content Creation: Develop written content for UMOM, including branded emails, social media posts, ad campaigns, offline marketing materials, web-based stories, and blogs

· Graphic Design Coordination: Manage and oversee graphic design work performed by vendors, ensuring alignment with UMOM's brand guidelines

· Digital Deployment: Set up and deploy email communications, social media posts, and website updates

· Content Review & Design Facilitation: Collaborate with all departments to review, edit, and facilitate the design of content and materials, ensuring relevancy, consistency, and brand compliance

· Metrics Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report on key metrics related to website performance, email campaigns, social media engagement, and other marketing initiatives

· Collaboration with Philanthropy: Work closely with the Philanthropy team to plan and execute key initiatives, including the annual fund and new donor acquisition campaigns

· Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on posting, engagement, and advertising in line with organizational goals and budget

· Content & PR Opportunities: Identify opportunities for new content and PR projects that align with and drive organizational objectives

· Project Management: Oversee timelines, budgets, and reporting for marketing-related projects

· Data Management: Ensure all relevant activities are recorded in the Virtuous donor database, following the organization's policies and procedures

· Vendor Management: Supervise vendor output, including work direction, onboarding, productivity appraisal, and feedback delivery

· Cross-Department Collaboration: Work effectively across all departments and with staff and high-level volunteers

Experience and Education:

· Bachelor's degree in a related field required

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or progressive non-profit management roles required

· Portfolio demonstrating copywriting skills, including emails, blogs, social media posts, or ads

· Experience managing vendor or employee output preferred

· Valid AZ Driver's License with a driving record that complies with UMOM's policy

Duties require extended periods of stationary work, using a computer (keyboard, monitor, mouse), and other standard office equipment, including but not limited to a printer, fax machine, calculator, copier, telephone, and associated technology peripherals.

Work Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for special events. This position requires full-time, in-person work during the first 90 days of onboarding. Afterward, the schedule may flex to 60-80% in-person (approximately three days per week), depending on organizational needs.
