.NET WEB DEVELOPER - ALBANY - HYBRID
We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Web Developer to join our team for a 30-month project with the New York State Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS). You will be working on the Child Care Facility System (CCFS), contributing to critical system development and enhancements. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with approximately half of the time spent in the office in Albany, NY.
What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with a team of developers to build the new Facility Application Management system using ASP.NET MVC.
Work closely with the Business Analyst to assist in analysis and logical design.
Perform unit testing and address all identified issues.
Engage in complex VB.NET coding and development.
Assist in responding to CCFS data requests.
Report to the Technical Lead Project Manager & Software Architect, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Write and optimize complex stored procedures and triggers in an Oracle database using PL/SQL.
What You’ll Bring:
7 years of experience in developing N-Tier .NET web applications.
6 years of experience in writing packages, stored procedures, and triggers with PL/SQL.
5 years of experience utilizing Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks.
5 years of experience working with SQL Server Reporting Services.
3 years of experience with jQuery.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Bonus Points For:
Prior experience working in a government or large-scale organizational setting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
