Program Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator.

About Us: Located on nearly 1500 forested acres in the Town of Becket, nestled within the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts, the Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA is an independent YMCA camp which operates programs serving hundreds of campers. Boasting over a century of tradition, our industry leading programs include the Chimney Corners Camp for girls, Camp Becket for boys, the Travel & Service Programs (domestic and international), and Becket Day Camp.

About the Job: As Program Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for the registration of campers and families for all Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA programs. Additionally, the Program Enrollment & Marketing Coordinator will help with other administrative duties. Key traits for success are a friendly, efficient, respectful, helpful, and business-like attitude.

What You’re Responsible For:

The principal activities change with the time of year. Administrative and clerical tasks include the following areas:

As a key member of the program team, serve as primary liaison between families and our programsDevelop knowledge of programs and serve as a key partner in implementing marketing and sales effortsSupport programs by assisting all aspects of camp communications, financial management, human resources, store sales, supply procurement, and other responsibilities related to the program.Provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Program Officer and Camp Directors.Collaborate with others regarding pre-camp and summer logistics, including setting up summer officesProvide training and supervision of summer office and store staff as needed and assist with office coverage to meet program needs.Prepare and run reports from the registration database as requested.Take primary responsibility for welcoming and assisting visitors and vendors at the Administration Building.Work with other team members to cover general office duties such as mail and package sorting, supply ordering, and other responsibilities as they arise.Support HR and hiring managers with onboarding for seasonal staffQualifications: (Minimum Qualifications and experience)

3-5 years of relevant prior experience, customer service roles a plusExcellent organization skills with a keen focus on detailsDemonstrated competence in using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and databasesExcellent customer service including communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with colleagues and represent the organization to othersMust possess a growth mindset, be flexible to changes in priorities, and have a commitment to the goals of the organizationAbility to work independently, exercising discretion and independent judgmentDesire to be an active and collaborative team member of a learning organizationCurrent driver’s license with clean driving record and have reliable ability to travel to and from workMust provide proof of recent medical physical & immunization records as required by MA regulations and the organizationDemonstrates and supports a culture of diversity, equity and inclusionWhat You Need To Apply:

Excellent time management and prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task from different locationsEffective communication skills, including speaking, writing, and active listening with the ability to navigate the different approaches needed with colleagues, professionals, contractors, families, etc.Exceptional organizational skills with a keen focus on details to maintain a highly organized and productive work environment.Experienced in using integrated technology and software solutions and can provide basic support to others directly or through coordination of hired professional services.Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to produce graphical representations of data.Prior experience with registration and customer relation management systems preferred. SImilar experience with the ability to succeed quickly as a result of training is required.How We Take Care of You: $20.00 - $24.00 hour based on experience plus excellent benefits

Work Hours & Location: 30- 40 hours per week based on programmatic and operational needs. Schedule to be arranged with the supervisor. All work will be on site.
