ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates visually appealing marketing materials including fliers, brochures, newsletters, direct mail pieces, advertising layouts, coupons, camera ready artwork, mailers, inserts, signage, etc. in a timely manner.Ensures all designs align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.Manage multiple design projects simultaneously. Effectively prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high quality work.Utilize industry standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite to create and edit graphics.Work closely with cross functional teams across the company to understand project goals and deliver designs that meet objectives.Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Performs duties in compliance with safety procedures.Attendance: reports to work as scheduled, on time, and ready to work. Wears nametag and gaming license.Communicates accurate information about the casino and performs related administrative support duties effectively and promptly. Promotes a positive image and the goodwill of the company in all marketing activities.Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.Maintains alertness for performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of marketing operations at all times. Takes appropriate action based on observations, as directed or as established. Informs Marketing Director of any concerns.Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated experience within a marketing environment is preferred. Demonstrated experience working with design software including Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrated experience in web design and understanding of user interface principles. Demonstrated knowledge of animation and video editing software.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in education and experience related to graphic design. One (1) or more years of creating graphic designs and using graphic design software.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY:
No decision making is required beyond the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age..
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork, answering the telephone, or using a computer with standard breaks. Essential duties include occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, walking and crouching. Essential duties involve frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stretching, standing, reaching, lifting, and pushing materials, supplies, and equipment. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds and working a flexible work week, including weekends, with additional hours routinely required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Essential duties involve working with large numbers of people while primarily in an inside environment, which is frequently loud or contains high noise levels.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Various general office equipment, including computers, embossers, cameras, shredders, telephones, printers, photocopiers, calculators, and staplers.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$55K+ annually based on experience
