Who we're looking for:Invent, develop, maintain, and improve upon gameplay animation systems that leads the industry in quality while maintaining robust flexibility for use by AI, designers, and scriptTake the full range of ownership of gameplay animation features from content creation tools to the runtimeWork closely with animators, technical artists, and designersWork with blending of procedural animation systems and IK with authored contentApply a critical eye, willingness to experiment, and enthusiasm to collaborate with artists and other creative disciplines to achieve the best possible qualityDevelop and support core gameplay animation technologies including procedural motion, motion matching, and character traversalWhat skills you will use:

Four (4) years of experience in job offered, or as a Gameplay Programmer, Senior Animation Programmer, or in a related occupation. At least three (3) years working in the video game industryExperience with shipping AAA gamesFamiliarity with various animation technologies such as animation keys, curves, interpolation, IK, etc.Strong math skills with emphasis on 3D mathStrong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Base pay is one component of our total compensation package. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location, as well as additional compensation components, such as annual bonus, profit sharing, and other incentive plans.
