At Snowflake, Product Designers identify opportunities, shape the vision of our products, and ensure we're delivering highly crafted, honed products that our customers love. As we continue to develop new products and push our existing products forward, we're looking Designers to redefine design tooling for working with data and AI. Our designs at Snowflake scale to a wide variety of surfaces and experiences like data visualization, code editors, monitoring and alerting, marketplace experiences, collaboration, and more.YOUR IMPACT:

Develop and evangelize the strategy and craft of our design system to ensure it is making an impact for our customers and internal teamsAlign cross-functional teams and stakeholders on the importance of design systems for efficiently building high-quality productsPromote design excellence and quality standards across Snowflake through collaboration with the design team and partnersYOUR ROLE:Identify and drive opportunities to create a vision and up-level our design systemCollaborate and effectively influence your engineering and product partners to design and deliver excellent productsWork end-to-end by identifying opportunities, establishing the vision, and working with engineering to deliver high quality, robust solutionsCollaborate with the broader design team to ensure a seamless product experiencePartner with researchers, data scientists, and product managers to drive solutions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative customer insightsDeliver detailed, robust components and work directly with engineering to to ensure a high quality product reaches the hands of our customersDevelop strong rationale for design decisions, and articulate your perspectiveYOUR EXPERIENCE:12+ years as a product designerDeep design systems experienceExperience collaborating closely with engineering and product partnersExperience working with data and technical complexityEnd-to-end ownership of meaningful features or surfacesYour end-user advocacy has shaped product experiences you can point toShipped products that have simplified complex workflowsYou have iterated on shipped products based on customer usage and feedbackNICE TO HAVE:Enterprise design systems experienceExperience in fast-paced environments with quick delivery and iteration cyclesAbility to prototype either alone or with engineering partners to get out of mockups fasterInterest in the data space and cutting edge technologiesExperience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript/React, and CSS
