Business and Position Overview

This role will be responsible for driving customer interest in NI's product and solutions for the energy business segment. Key responsibilities include driving demand generation efforts including events, training the sales force, and technical content creation.

This role will collaborate closely with many groups including business management, R&D, marketing, and sales.

ResponsibilitiesBuild strong product positioning that pinpoints the value of our NI products and systems for both traditional and green energy applications.Demonstrate this value by creating demos, whitepapers, presentations, videos and more.Work with web teams, campaign marketing, direct sales, distributors and our community to evangelize your message and content to a wide audience.Spend time with users to develop your own expertise, becoming the "go-to" subject matter expert for NI's products and solutions in the energy segment.Use this knowledge to support presales needs and large events (eg. NI Connect)Qualifications

10+ years of relevant industry experienceStrong technical skills and understanding of NI hardware and softwareExceptional communication skills, including technical writing and presenting.Interest in strategic/business acumenSelf-motivated but collaborative work ethicSome national, and international travel requirement (5-10%)
