Are you a creative and strategic thinker with a passion for communications, social media and marketing? We're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Marketing Communications Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting engaging content and ads aimed at attracting prospective residents and enhancing our recruitment efforts. You'll partner with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams and partners, to develop and implement integrated/multi-channel marketing communication deliverables and campaigns. Through all communication channels and creative promotional content, this role is to adhere to the brand voice and portray the company's values.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:COMMUNICATIONS:

Oversee the development and production of the "News Wrap" e-newsletter on a weekly basis.Write and curate compelling content that highlights key company updates, achievements, managed community lifestyle and culture.Ensure timely delivery and effective communication of the newsletter across all internal teams and channels.Conduct proofreading and editing of all communication materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.

SOCIAL MEDIA:Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms.Develop and implement compelling social media content and advertising strategies.Manage and grow our social media presence.Write persuasive copy, design visually appealing graphics and post regularly, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across all platforms.Actively engage with user comments and inquiries to build and maintain positive relationships.Monitor and analyze current trends, emerging topics, and new social media platforms to identify growth opportunities.Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in social, mobile, and digital marketing.Optimize and maintain social media profiles to enhance visibility and uphold a positive brand image and tone.Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and recommendations for optimizing future posts and ads.PUBLIC RELATIONS:

Monitor online conversations and brand/product mentions to stay informed about public sentiment and industry trends.Respond to online reviews, engaging with all feedback across claimed channels.Track and report on media coverage of pitched stories. Identify new opportunities for story ideas and media opportunities.Support public relations efforts by developing content and coordinating with sales teams for events and opportunities.Assist in crisis management by actively monitoring media channels using monitoring software and social media platforms.Experience in crafting press releases and managing media inquiries.ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Write and disseminate blog articles and videos.Assist, when necessary, with marketing events and key presentations.Manage, monitor and maintain online directories.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications with a minimum of five years of experience.Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong editing skills.Knowledge of social media best practices and engaging content.Self-motivated and ambitious.Organized, attention to detail and creative thinker that offers strategic and innovative solutions for projects.Good organizational and time management skills.Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Have a flexible can-do attitude, and a good team player.Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
