Essential FunctionsInteracts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.Graphic design services including design development, design reviews/mock-up, revisions, and pre-flight preparation for social media posts.Social Media/Project Info & Scope of Work for The Jefferson College of Architecture and the Built Environment. The Project Scope of Work is to manage and coordinate the dean's online communications on social media platforms and weekly outreach to optimize the college's assets to build a national and international audience and reputation.Meetings with the dean and marketing to understand goals and objectives, online communications platforms, and team resources available.Create captions for social media posts with assets provided by the college, including faculty, staff, and students.Support dean's weekly online newsletter through writing short articles, approximately 150-300 words depending on the feature.Optimize existing and new assets created by the college/marketing based on awards, competitions, and extra-/co-curricular activities by faculty, staff, and students.An assessment and discovery process will be implemented to better understand the dean/college including but not limited to a social media audit, CABE social media survey, strategy guidelines, and implementation process to assist with voice and tone in communications across platforms of the college.Communicate with the dean and marketing's internal team for additional support and resources.Asset creation included but not limited to video, photography, and graphic design.Attend all meetings with the dean, marketing team, and other stakeholders to ensure all materials align with colleges activities and goals.All materials and files for this project will be provided and given access to the college.Will inform the dean if the dedicated hours capped work are exceeded, and throughout services will inform the dean of projected hours required to complete goals.Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor of Science in ArchitectureAND

Experience:

2-3 years of Social Media management for architecture and other design fields.
