General Description

This position requires an individual with team efficiency who will maintain a safe, clean, and organized. Designs graphic layouts of promotional items using CAD applications on computer; prints out promotional signage such as posters, window stickers, & cooler wraps, etc.; applies signage & laminate onto various materials; maintains inventory of print shop supplies and provides inventory to Sign Shop Manager on a regular basis; stocks supply in an orderly manner to maximize efficiency; other duties as assigned

This class works under supervision to set procedures on how and when to complete tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.

Proficiency in graphics software applications including but not exclusive to CorelDraw Suite or Adobe Suite.Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications: MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a sign shop environment & have knowledge of basic design principles and aesthetics, i.e. computer graphic skills & custom sign making.Must have the fundamentals of sign, vinyl film, and banner confectioning.Must be familiar with Large Format Digital Printing.Must possess good product knowledge to design promotional products for maximum sales impact.Must have good communication skills and work with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction and increase sales.Must work well and cooperate with other team members.Ability to lift 60 lbs.Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred; Minimum 2-year work experience in sign shop and design.Flexibility to work outside of normal shift hours to accommodate various employee schedules.Required Knowledge and Abilities

Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.Physical Demands

Performs sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.Employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawEmployee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusExposure to weather and temperature variations.To help load/unload beer cases at events and at account locations.Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment)

Special Certifications and Licenses

Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screen.

Directly to location POS/Sign Manager.
