In this role you will be responsible for all mediums of communication like text, voice, avatar communication, and co-experiencing across the Roblox Platform.Roblox is well positioned to build the standards for accessing, navigating, communicating, and interacting within the metaverse, supporting everything users can do on Roblox: communicate, play, learn, work, etc.The role reports to the Sr. Director of Product, Social and is based in San Mateo, CA.You Will:
Define multi year vision & strategy for Communication products - all mediums, expressions as well scalabilityDrive the exploration, invention, research, and development of how users will express themselves in the metaverseDefine and optimize safety standards of communication productsDevelop a well-rounded platform to support multiple communication and community use casesLead a cross organizational team to executeWork with groups and leaders across Roblox to ensure delightful Communication products across all Roblox surfaces - phones, tablets, desktop, consoles and VRDefine and unlock new use cases for all ages that haven't even been discovered yet.Help invent the future!You Have:

of Product Management experience shipping high quality, delightful consumer apps across multiple platforms, especially pushing the envelope of Social productsA Strategic Thought Leader with strong experience in rapid prototyping, design ideation, and driving cross-functional teams to invent creative user interfaces.Creative! Imagine and invent use cases and product applications that have not been built before.A Risk Taker! You are not afraid to make bold bets and don’t shy away from changing how the world worksOrganized and driven. Creating new ways for users to interact with Roblox requires juggling many technical, product, and policy requirements across many teams, features, and device platforms. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
