Position Summary, Job Requirements & Responsibilities

What We're Looking For:As a Marketing Video Coordinator, you will collaborate with the marketing team on creating compelling storytelling through video content and will assist with graphic design needs. Your contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain Iridium's brand awareness and ongoing marketing efforts, and will help you acquire new marketing, communication, video and design skills in a fast-paced environment. We're looking for a positive, creative, hands-on learner who's ready to dive right in and start creating exciting new content!What You'll Do:Collect, edit and produce video assets for a library of testimonials from our executive leadership, partners, customers, etc.Assist in planning, directing and executing video and photo shoots in studio and on location.Operate video production equipment (including cameras, audio recorders, lighting, props, microphones, and teleprompter) on and off-site.Capture high-quality video and audio for various projects and manage post-production editing, including assembling of raw footage, creating 'rough cut', re-ordering content, adding subtitles, etc.Maintain, organize and store photo and video assets.Support the development of creative and high-impact graphics for marketing resources, sales tools, campaigns, email communications, and PowerPoint presentations.Help write and update content for print and digital marketing collateral, such as comparison charts, fact sheets, infographics, product catalogs, use cases, etc.Assist in creating internal and external communications including e-newsletters, social media content, event/virtual event invitations, etc.Stay current on industry trends; research competitors and keep abreast of market trends.Assist the Marketing Team in implementing the creative process to ensure a coherent look and feel to sales and marketing materials, following established brand guidelines.Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:Interest in or previous experience in the aerospace or telecommunications industries.Knowledge of marketing communications within a business-to-business communications industry.Knowledge of lighting, sound recording, and video compression techniques.Strong production and post-production skills and comprehensive knowledge of programs like Movie Maker, Adobe Premier, After Effects.Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.Experience with MailChimp, SurveyMonkey and other automation marketing platforms.Interest in aerospace and/or telecommunications.Positive, professional attitude.

What You'll Need to Succeed:Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree program at an accredited academic institution.

Preferred major in Graphic Design, Film & Media Arts, Advertising and Marketing, Visual Communication, Communications, Liberal Arts, Business, or a related field.

Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or green card holder).We'll also need you to:Be able to work in the office at least 1 day to foster collaboration with the team and stakeholders.Must work 8-12 hours a week.Work Environment:This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer.
