The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and connections in higher education, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and securing high-profile speaking opportunities.About Our Client:A cutting-edge captioning company focused on radically reducing the cost of accessibility for higher education institutions nationwide; we believe that the first step to making education available to everyone is to make accessibility financially accessible. This is the mission that drove our founding team – computer scientists and internationally recognized non-profit founders Edward Aguilar and Sahan Reddy. Backed by the founders of Siri, the University of Chicago, and some of the best investors in the country. Operates over 100 of the country's largest universities have partnered with us for captioning services and feedback from the community has been overwhelmingly positive.Responsibilities:Be the sole marketing/PR team.Creator of all content specific to higher ed (web, newsletter, webinars, etc).Secure placements in reputable higher education publications.Obtain speaker slots at relevant conferences and industry events.Proficiency in LinkedIn marketing and community engagement.Qualifications:Have a can-do, no job is too big or small attitude.Higher education experience.Strong network of contacts within the higher education space.Proven track record of securing industry (higher ed) relevant speaking engagements, publications, events, etc.Job Location:
On-site 5 days a week in our San Francisco office.Benefits:
