Apply fast, check the full description by scrolling below to find out the full requirements for this role.Primary Purpose:The Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations & Marketing is responsible for leading all strategic and operational initiatives for the Slot Strategy, Casino Marketing Strategy, and Special Events divisions within MGM Resorts International's gaming strategy division. Reporting directly to MGMRI's Chief Gaming Officer, this position will be a primary stakeholder in the execution of strategic initiatives tied to maintaining MGMRI's status as a leader in the gaming industry and location of choice for customers from around the world. This position will identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with appropriate external partners in the gaming and marketing industries, oversee budgetary guidelines for its divisions, and provide insight and recommendations to C-suite leaders within MGM Resorts International. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.Sets long-term strategies and budgets for Casino Marketing campaigns, including both specialized and company-wide special events for customers, fully utilizing MGMRI's brands, assets, and competitive advantages.

Develops and maintains strong business relationships with industry partners, including agents, promoters, event producers, and creative agencies, to create innovative and engaging marketing and event campaigns that maximize return on investment.

Meets regularly with MGMRI property executive committees to set casino marketing strategies that are specialized to Property customer segments. Uses industry knowledge and data to set company-wide strategies.

Participates as high-level stakeholder in all omni-channel and 'Casino Next' initiatives, including BetMGM integration, MGM Interactive projects, and Gaming strategies.

Sets budgets for Slot Strategy, Casino Marketing Strategy, and Special Events divisions; ensures optimum performance through clear direction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Creates clear channels for effective communication and collaboration between their own divisions and the rest of corporate Gaming, Entertainment, Property Casino Operations, Property Casino Marketing, and other functional groups to maximize organizational effectiveness and enhance guest service.

Creates a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company's diversity commitment; adherence to the company's status quo third-party representation philosophy; compliance with the company's policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements.

Oversees Slot Strategy/Analytics team, responsible for optimizing the Slots capital budget for MGMRI's portfolio, proposes improvements to floor layout, product purchases, and procedures based upon detailed analysis on specialized reporting and data collection.

Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent extensive management experience in a gaming resort complex.

8+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in the direction and management of employees.
