This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, or New York City.

We’re looking for a designer who can connect the dots between audience needs, product strategy, and business goals. You will partner and collaborate closely with product management and marketing, engineering, sales operations, and data science. Responsibilities:Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of user-centered design processCreate holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirementsWork with web developers and engineers to deliver final products

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:BA/BS degree in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications5+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in delivering medium to large-scale projects independently or with some support from senior ICs or ManagersCapable of influence across the respective business area, regularly engaging in cross-functional discussions, and presenting compelling narratives to stakeholders and the broader organizationExperience in delivering intuitive, engaging, and delightful design solutions for unstructured, ambiguous problems that have some dependencies on other products/teamsStrong understanding of product development practices and design processes; demonstrates proficiency in deriving and applying data/insights to problem definition, concept development, and design iteration

CompensationLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $120,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.

The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
