You're an agile designer who loves to turn brands into experiences for shoppers. You enjoy collaborating with your fellow creatives, always listening for the nugget that inspires the big moment at retail. Your work is driven by lofty notions of craft and style, but is grounded in a strategic use of materials and an awareness of budget. And while the design of three-dimensional spaces and objects is your bread and butter, you're no slouch when it comes to the world of 2D graphic design and art direction.

Skills, Requirements, and Responsibilities

Minimum 1-2 years professional 3D/environmental design experience

A track record of conceptual and executional success in the world of retail marketing - portfolio submission required

Strong command of SketchUp and V-Ray software

Ability and willingness to collaborate with and take direction from creative directors, art directors, and designers

Be a champion of creative thinking that's on brand, on brief and within budget

This position is focused primarily on the Beverage/Alcohol category - an interest/knowledge base in the category is a major plus

Responsibilities

The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics, and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Manage multiple priorities on a daily basis. Excellent design aesthetics are a must. Provide rationale for design ideas. Engage in constructive dialog about how best to progress with projects. Communicate clearly regarding workload and deliverables.

Create beautiful and effective three-dimensional, experiential design solutions to engage the consumer. Passionate about design and brand on the whole and able to illustrate and produce concepts, floor plans and 3D renderings that elegantly illustrate our ideas to our clients.

Partner with engagement strategists, interactive (design and strategy) and graphic designers to ensure seamless integration of digital interactive experience with physical environments.

Work with client service and strategy leads to develop, maintain and grow multiple client relationships. Partner with business development to pitch and win new client relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports or guidance for indirect reports.

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

Driving is not an essential duty and function of this job.

Travel up to 5%.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Industrial Design or similar discipline

5+ years of experience in designing physical environments.

Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships

Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment

Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision

Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods, ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
