Our Brand Experience Team is passionate about creating incredible consumer and retail experiences for the best brands in the world. We’re on the hunt for a top-tier Senior Designer to contribute to this mission on our east coast creative team. If you’re an ambitious and innovative creative, passionate about experiential design, and excited to solve creative business problems for world-class brands, read on.This Senior Designer utilizes strong conceptual thinking and design knowledge to translate client concepts into design pieces. This role visualizes and develops solutions for products and campaigns while mentoring team members to achieve project goals. The senior designer utilizes creative thinking while following brand standards and internal workflows to create designs that meet project deliverables efficiently.HAS EXPERIENCE WITH
Ongoing passion for the retail design industry and best practices.In-depth understanding of experiential and retail design strategy.Developing and implementing brand design documents and guidelines in both 2D and 3D space.Leading retail design projects from concept through successful build, in-store.Familiarity with sketching, 3D visualization, and creating mockups on the fly with clients.Engaging with teams to manage the delivery of final details and files to ensure a smooth hand-off and a profitable program.Growing teams and mentoring junior creatives.ENJOYS COLLABORATING WITH
Clients that are leaders in consumer goods, home improvement, digital strategy, and emerging technologies.Partnering with retail brands to create engaging consumer experiences.Team members across job functions and agency locations.A diverse and dynamic team based in our Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and Portland offices.RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads design projects from concept phase through successful completion.Develops and implements visual elements or creative concepts for project deliverables.Translates existing and emerging concepts into actual brand and/or product designs.Integrates images, text, motion, etc., with a great sense of aesthetics while executing against the brand/product vision or brief.Acts as a liaison amongst the production department to ensure results meet project specifications.Develops working relationships with clients to fully understand requirements and expectations.Leads project meetings to understand concept, timelines, objectives, and specifications.Presents ideas, research, and trends during creative meetings with both internal teams and external clients.Works with creative teams to direct photoshoots for design projects.Oversees project deadlines to ensure they are met consistently.Ensures projects are on track to be completed on time and within budget.Creates presentations, mood boards, and proposals based upon project scope.Advises the design team with technical problem-solving in the development of design elements and layouts.Recommends improvements in creative design concepts, tools, processes, and/or assigned tasks to management.Conducts market research to stay up-to-date on market trends and new design developments.Advises Designers and Junior Designers throughout project deliverables.Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Design, Advertising, Marketing, or related field.6+ years of previous design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.Proficient with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).Provide a professional portfolio with application.High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
