The Costco Logistics Support department is responsible for training, support and documentation of procedural topics for Costco Logistics DDCs, MDOs, MSCs, Return Centers and Buying as it relates to the Costco Logistics network. The Costco Logistics Support content developer researches, develops, and publishes documentation on various procedures and systems with specific emphasis on field operational processes, Costco Logistics IT, eCom fulfillment, inventory audit, reverse flow (returns), and eCom #847 processes and procedures. Occasional travel to current and new Costco Logistics locations in the United States will be required to provide support and training as needed. Travel is generally for 2-3 days per location, but may exceed that time frame if required.

Participates in the development, testing, and training for new systems and programs.Prepares documentation for existing systems and programs.Researches, designs, and develops documentation content for a variety of media including in-person and remote learning.Researches and analyzes operational situations to assess necessary controls and procedures.Writes and documents current and upcoming procedures and changes.Works closely with other departments (MDO Ops, Depot Ops, Warehouse Ops, IMAC, Accounting, etc.) to improve current processes and develop/implement new processes.Presents to large groups periodically on topics related to inventory audit and eCom fulfillment processes.Assists in the development of executive presentations as it relates to Costco Logistics.Assists in the development of processes and procedures for Costco Home Showrooms.Provides support and training at current and new MDOs for Highjump and Delivery & Installation processes, routing, inventory audit, and returns processes. Trainers work directly with existing employees and regional process trainers. The trainer is responsible for ensuring these employees, along with experienced employees, have an understanding of policies and procedures, and are adequately prepared to complete their jobs successfully.Manages/maintains Tech Documentation Portal site which includes SOPs and IT Internal Docs.Develops and publishes weekly and ad hoc communication to field operations which include, but are not limited to, alerts and recent updates.Occasional travel by car and airplane to conduct training at Costco Logistics business locations throughout the United States.REQUIRED

Knowledge of MDO, warehouse and/or Depot Return procedures.Strong word/visual processing skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft or Google Office Suites.Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.Must have a proven record of taking initiative, being self-motivated, and a team player, as reflected in past reviews.Recommended
