We are responsible for creative, strategy, and production of custom branded entertainment and sponsored content solutions across all Disney Entertainment platforms and channels - ABC, FX, Hulu, Disney+, Freeform, National Geographic, Disney Channels and Disney Branded Television.**Job Summary:**Disney CreativeWorks is seeking a **Senior Manager, Design and Motion Graphics** to lead and create multi-platform design and motion graphics for revenue-generating creative campaigns across our Disney Entertainment IP and brands– including Hulu, ABC, Freeform, FX, Nat Geo, Disney Channels, and Disney+.The Senior Manager will be responsible for inspiring and creating great design creative, as well as managing design solutions from both staff and vendors. An ability to navigate tight deadlines, create across a wide portfolio of IP and brands, as well as collaborate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders are critical required skills. The Sr Manager will be responsible for inspiring the best creative output and maintaining continuity and quality control while perpetuating creative and design aesthetics across all deliverables.**Responsibilities:**+ Collaborate with the CreativeWorks team of creative directors, writers, producers, and project managers across our portfolio of brands to concept and create design and motion graphic solutions for client campaigns with an understanding of high- level campaign strategy, specific brand guard rails, and a fluency across distribution platforms/channels.+ Direct and manage other designers and motion graphics artists, ensuring their work meets best-in-class creative goals, schedules and budgets, and client objectives.+ Develop, lead, and/or manage the creation of support materials such as presentation decks, pitch decks, sizzle graphics, and various creative services design assets as needed to support the business.+ Effectively manage design workflow, project schedules, delivery specs, etc.+ Work with DET Marketing and other stakeholders from Disney’s various entertainment brands to understand their specific brand guidelines, priorities, and other creative considerations, as well as the portfolio of ad product offerings of our streaming platforms.**Minimum Qualifications:**+ Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in motion graphics & design video content.+ Minimum 3 years of professional experience in creative team management.+ Ad Agency or other client-facing experience preferred+ Proficient in Mac, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Keynote+ Advanced skills in design and animation software/technologies+ Experience with Maya, Cinema 4D and Houdini strongly preferred+ Experience in streaming media, film/video production, and visual effects strongly preferred+ Must be able to effectively communicate, direct, and lead in-house designers+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Superior organizational and problem-solving skills+ Must be able to multitask and work effectively under tight time constraints in a high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environment**Preferred Education:**+ Degree in design, animation, art, or film/tvThe hiring range for this position in California is $135,000 to $181,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
