This person will report to the Senior Graphics Manager out of the Dulles, Virgina location.**Job Duties:**+ Develops, designs, plans, lays out, and produces a variety of technical and promotional illustrations for engineering and marketing materials such as proposals, flyers, fact sheets, presentations, infographics, brochures, posters, manuals, handbooks, and advertising matter.+ Selects techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects in conformance with established quality standards and specified reproduction medium.+ Makes orthographic, isometric, and perspective drawings; uses engineering drawings, photographs, models, or rough sketches; coordinates with users to determine illustration objectives and translates into graphic terms; illustrates concept of operations, tools, products, machines, buildings, and figures using two- and three-dimensional approaches, and applying color, shading, and other art techniques to portray intended meaning.**Basic** **Qualifications:**+ A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 10 years of graphic development experience OR a bachelor’s degree or higher in graphics and/or illustration; or an equivalent combination of experience and education+ Experience with the following software: Adobe Creative Cloud Software, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint+ Ability to obtain a secret clearance**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Graphics and/or illustration experience for an aerospace and defense organization or defense contractorNorthrop Grumman offers a competitive and robust benefits program. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
