About the teamThe Senior UX Designer will be a key member of the ThreadBeast product team, responsible for leading the conceptualization and project management of customer-facing features, including website updates and the development of new interactive elements that will improve our understanding of our customers. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure that the design aligns with the company's brand approach and enhances the overall customer experience. The Senior UX Designer will report directly to the Director of Product and will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the customer experience.Role overviewThe Senior UX Designer at ThreadBeast will manage all aspects of the customer experience design process for our customer-facing features, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of UX principles, proficiency in design tools, and experience in project management. The Senior UX Designer will ensure that all design work meets ThreadBeast's brand standards and provide strategic insights to improve our digital footprint.This full-time position offers flexibility in work location, being based either in our Los Angeles, CA office or remotely. The Senior UX Designer will significantly influence the customer journey and contribute to the company's growth and success.In this role, you will:Responsible for defining, articulating, and championing the future vision for how our customers onboard, subscribe, and engage with ThreadBeastLead the end-to-end UX design and implementation process for all customer-facing features, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience across all digital platforms.Conduct customer research and usability testing to gather insights, identify customer needs, and validate design decisions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI designs that communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and development teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align design strategies with business objectives and technical constraints.Oversee the design system and ensure consistency in visual and interaction design patterns across products.Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the customer experience.Present and defend design solutions to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind design decisions and advocating for the customer's needs.Participate in project planning and management, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design work.Evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions through analytics and customer feedback, iterating to improve the customer experience.We are looking for:Minimum of five years of experience in UX design, with at least two years in a senior role.Proven experience leading UX projects from concept to completion, including customer research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process and outcomes, with a focus on customer-facing digital products.Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.Excellent understanding of design principles, customer-centered design processes, and web accessibility standards.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and customer feedback to inform design decisions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and team members.A proactive and adaptable mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.About ThreadBeast :ThreadBeast is a leading streetwear subscription e-commerce company in the fashion industry, offering a personalized and seamless shopping experience for the latest styles and trends.
