Lead Product Designer

will have the opportunity to jump into highly visible workstreams and deliver impactful experiences that will drive both customer delight and business results. You are an empathetic designer who is ready to collaborate, learn, and lead, all while ready to roll up your sleeves and engage in designing elegant solutions to the problems at hand. Additionally, you’re gifted in UI/UX designer, customer-obsessed, love crafting engaging experiences, and love turning quantitative and qualitative findings into insights and strategy to drive priorities. As a Lead Product Designer, you'll play a critical role in improving the existing product design while contributing to the future product strategy and roadmap.What You’ll DoUtilize design thinking to design engaging customer experiences which solve goals with elegant simplicity.Serve as a subject matter expert for the Design team, providing design guidance, documenting, and socializing best practices.Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, brand designers, and others stakeholders to execute design concepts that deliver on brand goals, business goals, and are technically feasible to implement.Drive a sense of urgency in the team to deliver work, emphasizing the use of lean and agile techniques to rapidly deliver work.Day-to-day work will consist of a combination of design execution, problem solving, and defining new design operations.You’ll help drive design efforts for our website and appsWhat You’ll Need7+ years experience in user interface design for consumers.Available and current portfolio showcasing depth and breadth of project work and individual contributions.Strong expertise and background in developing modern and delightful applications for web and mobile.Knowledge of modern web design trends and standards, as well as a deep iOS & Android platform design convention.Comfortable working to shape, create, and apply design systems.Mastery of Figma, Keynote, and other design tools.Ability to produce rapid prototypes.Flexible and productive in the face of ambiguity and change during a project.Proactive collaborator and communicator, experienced in working within large, highly cross-functional teams.Rigorous attention to detail and consistency.Proven track record of self-direction and follow-through.Full-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401 (k), employee discount and a casual work environment.
