This role is pivotal in managing a product marketing team that encompasses core product marketing, audience marketing, analyst relations, and competitive intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating company objectives into a cohesive GTM strategy, ensuring its alignment with resources, and overseeing its execution. As a key voice in defining marketing, product, and GTM strategy, the VP will collaborate with various stakeholders and be instrumental in elevating the company's market presence. The position requires a strong background in the tech industry, particularly in the SaaS space, and at least 5 years of executive-level product marketing experience for B2B software. Basic requirements for the role include a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience, 15+ years in the tech industry, and a proven track record of managing a team of at least 10 people. The ideal candidate will have a background in the SaaS space and a deep understanding of the B2B technology market. While the company values all types of experience and education, the VP of Product Marketing is expected to have a strong foundation in product marketing and a demonstrable ability to lead and inspire a team.
