Position Summary:

As a Graphic Designer with the Betty Brinn Children's Museum, you will play an integral role in bringing our brand to life in a meaningful and compelling way. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts and designs to support various communication channels such as social media, bbmckids.org, email, signage, digital and traditional media, and various printed materials.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to conceptualize design solutions to reach our target audience, influence conversions and ultimately increase earned and contributed revenue.Develop creative concepts and design solutions that meet project objectives.Create graphics for various platforms, including print, digital, and social media.Produce high-quality visual content that engages our target audiences..Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the museum, ensuring consistency across all visual materials.Stay up to date with design trends, tools and best practices.Support additional museum initiatives as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organization.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design.Minimum of two years of experience in the field of graphic design.Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)Strong portfolio showcasing creative design work.Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to develop compelling content that engages audiences to increase their understanding of BBCM's mission and purpose.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with marketing peers, Museum staff, community partners, and other stakeholders.Attention to detail and a passion for design.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure.Can-do, positive and collaborative attitude.Benefits & Salary:

Salary Range:Salary $40,000-42,000
