Summary

The Sponsorship & Advertising Manager is responsible for generating revenues through the sale of local/regional and national sponsorships, brand activations and local/regional media sales across the RED portfolio. In addition to direct selling, the Sponsorship & Advertising Manager develops and leads revenue-generating marketing strategies, tailored sales pitch presentations, proposal writing, development, and execution of agreements. The role is also responsible for managing the on-property media asset inventory and implementing activations in collaboration with the Field Marketing Manager(s); ensuring sponsorship and advertising fulfillment; and creating and delivering sponsorship and advertising recaps.

This role is on the Corporate Marketing team based in Phoenix.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Generate sponsorship sales by targeting, cultivating, and securing new B2C client relationships with local/regional and national brands, agencies, and organizations.Target multi-year sponsor programs in key categories such as automotive, health/fitness, education, financial industry, and technology.Secure local/regional media sales and brand activations/events to achieve revenue goals.Revenue optimization: evaluate and identify maximum potential revenue across the RED portfolio of operating assets.Identify and qualify agency and brands leads.Field and respond to all in-bound business development leads.Continuously grow sales pipeline through cold-calling, prospecting, and networking.Develop tailored strategies, presentations, and proposals to effectively pitch sponsor opportunities from inception through final negotiation and closing.Negotiate terms and finalize agreements with sponsors and advertisers, ensuring mutually beneficial sponsorships and media programs.Collaborate with Marketing and Property Management teams to fulfill sponsorship and advertising commitments, implementing events and activations with seamless execution while delivering added value to sponsors.Explore innovative sponsorship concepts and activation ideas to enhance partner engagement and ROI.Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new revenue opportunities.Develop and manage a CRM process; to include exploration of a software platform.Ongoing sales activity reporting and goal tracking.Key Metrics used to evaluate performance:

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of related sales and marketing, corporate sponsorship, or sports management sales experience; preferably direct sales experience pitching agencies and brands.Previous experience successfully implementing programs on behalf of national brands within shopping centers, sports arenas, and other entertainment venues preferred.Relationship management experience & supreme level of service & support mindedness.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.Critical thinker and problem-solving skills; resourcefulness.Team player & independent accountability.A drive for continued professional development & career growth.Strong time management & prioritization skills.High degree of initiative and independent judgment.Ability to prioritize; detail oriented; organized.Work well under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently with a "do whatever it takes" mentality.Benefits
