Role:

Seasoned data driven expert responsible for the strategy, oversight, and management of all marketing functions to ensure members’ life events are met. This position will work collaboratively across departments to ensure campaigns, member education, and advertising follow the business plan and strategic directives of the credit union.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Increase brand awareness to include integration of company culture, core values, and value proposition of the credit union.Analyze and translate the market and competitive data predictively and retroactively to achieve an exceptional experience for members and drive the achievement of business initiativesCoordinate and collaborate across department lines to modify or create product offerings and services that can be executed profitably and deliver on our value proposition.Conduct market research and recommend product/service modifications and enhancements.Develop a creative team to design and implement solutions through advertising, graphics, and content to achieve growth goals, ROI, and member engagement.Responsible for the HR administration of all employees in Marketing to include proper staffing, recruiting, coaching, career development, performance reviews, and salary administration.Direct marketing and advertising to include creating and maintaining brand identity, analysis of products/services, budgets, pricing, and distribution. Develop advertising programs and collateral materials.For the assigned areas, this person is responsible for developing strategic and tactical plans consistent with the defined strategic intent of the credit union, and` responsible for managing the execution of strategic actions and projects.Oversee implementation of credit union events including production of reports, facilities, and meeting logistics.Responsible for leading and participating in strategic projects as assigned.Oversee the strategy and annual plan to ensure brand awareness and brand recognition in the communities we serve.Responsible for preparing an annual budget for the assigned areas to include operating within the approved budget and justifying any material budget variances.Responsible for timely and accurate management reports as relevant to the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.Maintain knowledge of and comply with all BSA related regulations and internal policies and procedures.Lead the Community Partnership Foundation, a non-profit corporation, formed by Family Trust FCU, as an organization with a mission to improve the lives of people and businesses in the communities that the credit union serves. The CPF operates to provide financial assistance and support to other organizations operating exclusively for charitable or educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS code.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience:

10+ years marketing experience, 5 to 7 years in marketing leadership position.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business, or related field; graduate degree preferred

Interpersonal Skills:

The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.

Other Skills:

Business and financial acumen, process driven, excellent digital marketing skills, communication skills and strategic planning abilities required. Creative writing and knowledge of target marketing required. Possess organizational and data analysis; be able to coordinate a variety of projects. Possess PC skills and be able to run spreadsheets, word processing, and understand publishing software.
