is seeking an experienced & talented Floral Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have an eye for detail and create elegant designs that meet our high standards. The successful applicant will be passionate about creating arrangements for our customers, enjoy working as part of a team and have regular communication with our management team. 3 years' experience working in a professional floral shop/studio.
This is a part-time position 20-25 hours per week to include weekends
Responsibilities:
Design/Arrange flowers for the hotel, weddings, and other social eventsMaintain overall appearance of the department, ensuring proper design and freshness of flowersAssist with set up for events to include but not limited to filing vases, dropping centerpieces, setting up florals and decorationsDeliver floral arrangements in our company van typically within a 10-mile radius.Enjoy the interaction with customers.Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.Three years' experience in floral designFamiliar with current wedding and special event design trendsMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordUnderstand the vision of our clients & make it a realityUnderstand pricing and maintain a budgetCan work independently.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Passionate, with strong customer service skillsAvailable to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays, if neededRegular and predictable attendanceAlways arrives punctually with a neat & professional appearanceRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouchingAble to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance
