Overview

The Marketing Specialist works closely with the bank's Marketing Director and executive staff to create and implement comprehensive strategies, policies and programs related to corporate marketing, communications and advertising.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily administrative duties and completing a range of marketing activities.Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives.Ensure the intranet consistently provides current and pertinent internal communications.Support the planning and execution of promotional events, community outreach programs, and sponsorship activities.Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for marketing campaigns.Analyze customer demographics and behaviors to assist in targeting marketing efforts.Assist in maintaining the bank's website, online and digital marketing strategies.Maintain the bank's social media presence and content, and direct programs to improve the bank's online visibility, reputation and recognition.Assist in editorial content for the bank's website, online and mobile platforms, social media, collateral, and any other applicable channel, including writing, editing, and proofreading copy.Fulfill marketing item requests for all branches.Assist in proofing and ensuring all marketing materials are correct and consistent.Measure and report the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications strategies.Other duties as assigned.Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field (preferred)Experience:

2-5 years of experience in marketing or related fieldSuccessful track record in managing marketing campaigns or similar projectsExperience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

Skills:

Creative thinking with strong problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of current and online marketing techniques and best practicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to interact with customers and employees, and listen effectively Analytical skills to gather and summarize data for reports, measure performance, and report on successFlexibility to work outside of normal banking hours when necessary Strong technical and computer skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint with familiarity of Google AdWords, Google Display Network, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and social media tools
