Job Summary

The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Manager, Growth Marketing and be responsible for managing content production and resources along with quality assurance. This includes managing agency relationships, public relations, campaign asset creation, Horizon Report production, internal communications, and the website. This role will work closely with stakeholders from the marketing and sales organization, while also relying on operations team members to provide expertise and guidance.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker and storyteller who is equally comfortable with sourcing and developing content as they are in creating stories that engage and educate consumers on a human level.

Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be required.• Develop and manage content and communications for paid, earned and owned channels, including all digital channels.• Translate stakeholder goals and marketing objectives into clear and memorable content storytelling.• Develop thought leadership content for demand generation and client support.• Build differentiating content around value propositions that drives awareness, consideration and demand for Fortified solutions.• Work with marketing team members to develop innovative campaign themes and creative.• Find creative ways to iterate and reinforce messaging themes to increase aided and unaided brand recognition.• Maintain content calendar for all audiences across all channels and formats.• Write, edit and oversee creation of traditional and digital content that promotes and elevates brand authority and brand promise. Publish content on web and traditional channels as needed, including web CMS (WordPress).• Reviews and evaluates both art and copy to ensure projects deliver on brand guidelines and objectives.• Develop and maintain relationships across product, sales, marketing and operations to support client relationships and revenue objectives.• Work with creative teams - both internal resources and external agencies - to complete projects within budget and on schedule and to inspire new ideas and approaches.• Assist with development of content SEO strategy and ensure optimization of all digital, searchable content.• Serve as the principal project manager for all marketing and communications content projects.• Serve as the principal editor for all marketing and communications content projects.

Knowledge & Skills

Education & Experience• Bachelor's degree in business related major. Preferred degree marketing or journalism.• 5 years' experience in writing for B2B audiences required. Healthcare and technology focus a plus.• 3 years' experience managing vendors and/or direct reports.

Special Skills & Knowledge• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills - copywriting, copy editing and proofreading.• Ability to flex writing style to optimize copy for long form, digital, and video.• Proficiency in working with designers to create effective, impactful marketing and sales assets.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is required.• Proficiency in WordPress or similar Content Management System is required.
