No one candidate will be a 100% perfect match to our description, so if you thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually-charged environment and have similar experience to what we are looking for, we encourage you to apply.Position Overview:As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for our financial products, you’ll lead the launch and the establishment of our brand new Financial management platform: HoneyBook Finance; reinforcing HoneyBook’s market positioning as a leading business management platform for Independents. You’ll develop strategies and go-to-market plans that drive adoption of our financial products among HoneyBook target audiences. You’ll lead the development of the positioning and customer journey for our financial products, and partner with Product, Product Education, and Marketing teams on the coordination of cross-functional, go-to-market initiatives.To be successful, you need to be adept at collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, managing indirect resources, and effectively communicating strategies and plans to the broader organization. You’ll also need to strategically evaluate and match the needs of our users to our value proposition, have a clear understanding of the competitive landscape, and develop compelling positioning and messaging.This role reports to our Head of Product Marketing, and is a

hybrid role requiring in-office presence at either our San Francisco office or New York City hub

2-3 days a week. Note that while the role is advertised in both San Francisco and New York, there is only one role available; you need not apply to both.Responsibilities:Develop GTM strategies and campaigns for new financial products

Partner with product management to develop the product vision and shape the product roadmapDevelop product positioning and messaging, value propositions, market opportunity analysis, and customer proof pointsDevelop a strategic understanding of the customer journey for financial products and leverage this knowledge to inform strategy & GTMDevelop and continuously iterate on the body of knowledge around buyer personas: who they are, how they buy, and their key buying criteriaConduct an ongoing assessment and reporting of go-to-market strategy; making recommendations for course corrections as neededCreate content that drives successful product launches and features adoption activities, including thought leadership, roadmap presentations

Drive the adoption of existing financial products

Lead cross-functional teams to execute and assess marketing programs that support our financial productsProactively identify and execute on opportunities to drive increased conversion of new and existing members through close partnership with finance, analytics, and product teamsCollaborate with Finance to develop and iterate on a pricing strategy that drives business objectives from optimizing revenue to capturing market shareDevelop and continuously iterate on compelling and competitive messaging

Minimum Requirements:7+ years’ career experience with at least 4 years spent in a product marketing rolePrior experience developing positioning and messaging for either SMB or consumer fintech products and features. Or, for other product led growth companies in the fintech spaceExperience with both paid and organic marketing channels, with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing cross functional, high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that drive resultsExcellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with a demonstrated ability to work successfully across multiple cross functional teams; most importantly, ProductPrior experience directing and managing cross functional teams toward common goalsStrong written, verbal, and presentation skillsFluency in data, and prior experience leveraging data to inform recommendations and decisionsThe Good Stuff:Mission driven. Range in SFO/NYC: $150k - $173k + equity
