You will guide your team and work with other senior leaders and cross-functional team members to deliver the best possible experiences for our customers. You will be a member of our diverse Experience Design team, where we use our design and research skills to inspire and influence everyone across the company. We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds inside our team lead to innovation and inclusion in our product design.Your way to impact: As Design Program Management Director, you will lead the Design Program Management team and guide your team in delivering the best possible experiences for our customers.Your day-to-day: In your day-to-day, you will:Guide UX efforts across the PayPal product portfolio, including strategy, planning, and working with cross-functional partners.Own program strategy for end-to-end delivery using product development process lifecycles and workflows.Drive continuous improvement to design operations and processes (intake, capacity planning, tooling, workflow mapping).Collaborate with other cross-functional Design team leaders (Research, Content Design, Design Operations, Branding) and Business and Engineering stakeholders.Work with Program Management leaders in PayPal community to establish best practices in process, tooling, and approach.What do you need to bring:
12+ years of experience as a producer, project manager, or program manager with proven ability in managing projects within a design team or design operations.5+ years leading design program management teams.Thorough command of the UX lifecycle, knowledgeable in all skill areas and tools, including facilitation of workshops or other collaboration techniques.Background in software, product, or design development with the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks quickly.Experience with project management software tools and templates; Familiarity with standard design and prototyping tools, such as Figma, Framer, and Miro.PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
