SUMMARY:
Provides marketing materials to support employees and programs to ensure the growth and expansion of the Bank's products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
Update existing, and produce, purchase, or re-order brochures, slip-sheets, statement stuffers, flyers, signs and business cards.
Develop content for digital channels including the Company website, internal/external emails and all social media platforms
Responsible for the production of Capital Ideas (Company's magazine) to include writing, photography, editing and layout
Write and assist with the development of professional communication documents such as press releases, formal notices, emails, shareholder materials, blog articles etc.
Proofread digital and hardcopy documents/articles/presentations for accuracy and consistency.
Make corrections as needed
Create various marketing reports as needed and provide summary details including key findings, trends or areas of concern
Serve as point of contact for company email marketing
Conduct digital competitive analyses on a regular basis for all existing and potential company market areas
Act as point person for Caring for Community sponsorship and coordinate community volunteer activities and events
Provide placement and utilization assistance and training of marketing materials to branches and lines of business as needed
Manage marketing department email
Assist with support materials for internal sales campaigns
Assist with internal corporate functions (meetings, celebrations, tailgates, etc.)
Complete all mandatory and elective training including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
Regular, predictable in-person attendance is an essential requirement of this position
Complete all other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates Degree in Marketing or related field preferred
Minimum of two (2) years sales/marketing in similar industry.
Must have demonstrated creative ability to evaluate advertising and promotional programs
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to support ideas to further enhance Bank's marketing presence.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral or written instructions.
Ability to deal with problems.
Must be capable of minor decision making with executive oversight.
Must have strong work ethics and moral character, position does require local travel on an "as-needed" basis.
Must possess strong telephone skills and be able to operate general office equipment.
