All we need is you.The opportunitySouthern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Event Photography Assistant for The Center for the Arts in New London, NH. This student will help with their ever-expanding events. The CFA is at a critical juncture and needs support in showcasing their event and programs to the community. It is great experience for someone interested in photography and visual arts.Job Responsibilities:The Center for the Arts is looking for an individual to take photos of events during the very busy fall/winter season in this sought-after vacation region. Events take place primarily from Sept-April. As an arts organization, expect to attend events and edit as needed/required by the project or assignment. This is a great opportunity to use your skills and build your portfolio.Possible event examples:Member Gratitude EventOpen StudiosHuManities ProgramsFirst Friday ProgramsFamily ProgramsOther as NeededThe right individual would attend events, take photos, edit and provide completed project to the organizations marketing team.Minimum Qualifications:Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree programWork study part of financial aid packageStudents with work study may be prioritizedReliable transportationExperience using a camera in public settings a plusSome experience with editing software like Adobe Photoshot a plus but not necessaryReliableAble to work with deadlines and manage changing prioritiesMust have a valid drivers license and access to a carMust have a cameraLearning Outcomes:Portfolio builderOnsite experienceVarious lighting solutions depending on venueNetworkingWork Schedule:
