We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to support the work our growing Creative team is producing.

You will report into the Creative Operations Manager and sit within the Creative team to deliver both internal projects, as well as external facing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Working with stakeholders throughout the Marketing department and the wider organization, your day-to-day is focused on creating timelines, managing workflow, and communicating the status of current projects.

You are a highly organized and understand the Creative and Video production process and what it takes to enable great ideas to come to life.

You know how to keep teams focused, on task and aligned to deadlines from kick off to delivery.

You understand how to manage internal stakeholders within the creative process but also understand that creative work often requires flexibility. You're able to prioritize and juggle multiple people, tasks, and projects, and when blockers occur, can pivot to find solutions to meet the needs of the project.

You have a sense of humor, a favorite meme and a desire for team camaraderie. You work well within a team and are not afraid to contribute ideas and inspiration, as well as being self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.

Your experience and ideas will help shape the evolving Marketing function at Credit Acceptance, and our goal to build a world-class in-house agency.

Outcomes and Activities:This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.Serving as a point of contact between Creative Operations and internal stakeholders to coordinate resources and timelines, based on scope and project requirements.Initiating projects in the workflow management system (Workfront) with required information.Scheduling kick-offs, Creative and internal reviews in accordance with timelines.Ensuring deliverables meet established objectives and answers the brief.Supporting the Creative team by ensuring they have all necessary assets and information to perform their work.Monitoring and reporting on project progress across assigned business owners and partners.When facing roadblocks, creating solutions that still meet the project timings and objectives.Acting as a champion of Creative to maintain creative processes and best practices within the Marketing function.Leading complex projects involving multiple channels with multiple deliverables.Ensuring project assets are correctly stored and archived in the DAM (Adobe Asset Manager).Actively gaining in-depth knowledge of the business by understanding the brand and our audiences and embracing overarching company values.Championing continuous improvement of processes and technology that can scale to continue delivering on our success as we grow.

Knowledge and SkillsA deep understanding of the creative process, as well as video and creative production, and skills needed to deliver on varying types of projects digital and social to print and video.A strong understanding of optimizing team performance and ensuring efficient project delivery.The skill to collaborate effectively with Creative and Video teams, marketing, production, and other departments to align project objectives, priorities, and timelines, ensuring smooth communication and project progression.The ability to translate briefs into actionable tasks, ensuring that projects are aligned with strategic goals and creative visions.Experience in adapting to changing priorities, adjusting workflows, and effectively managing teams through transitions, ensuring minimal disruption to project delivery.Experience in managing outside vendors and freelancers and integrating them seamlessly into the process and team.A commitment to staying updated on industry best practices, emerging tools, and trends in Creative and Marketing.Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team of cross functional team member toward a common goal or project initiative.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience in a project management role with a track record of overseeing projects from concept through delivery.A proven track record of managing creative projects from initiation to completion, including scoping, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget oversight, while maintaining high-quality outcomes.Familiarity with the creative process, including design, copywriting, video, and production workflows.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in using project management planning tools and software.Team player who adds value with a solution-oriented mindset and an affinity for growth.

Preferred:Mix of agency and in-house experience.Experience using Microsoft Planner and Adobe Workfront to manage projects.

Targeted Compensation:

$78,000 - $91,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
