The ideal candidate understands that automation is the next big technological shift - comparable to the introduction of the smartphone - and wants to be a part of the movement, helping clients successfully transform their businesses processes and teams through cutting-edge innovation.

The New Business team at SoftBank Robotics is focused on defining paths to market for new products and initiating "zero to one" growth for the company. We launch new hardware and software products in the North American market and design automation use cases that deliver client value. The team is an entrepreneurial, tight-knit group focused on creating the formula to bring new products to market and generate overall company growth.

Reporting to the Vice President of New Business and Products at Softbank Robotics Americas, the ideal candidate will be comfortable operating under ambiguity and navigating a rapidly evolving market to determine the best path to market for new products. The individual will be a detail-oriented, passionate, self-starter that will be working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced start-up-like environment handling several high visibility projects. Energy and curiosity are a must! You will be a fast learner, and an expert communicator, understanding that the only way to meet ambitious goals is to work and learn together.

Responsibilities include:

Enable the successful launch of new products by conducting market research, competitive landscaping, and customer analysis to test and understand product market fit, willingness to pay, and competitive positioning.Develop, quantify, and articulate hardware and/or software value propositions based on product pilots and customer feedback.Drive high-visibility engagements with external and internal stakeholders to educate them on new products, learnings, and market opportunities.Support the creation of "0-1" go to market playbooks, including identifying initial customer profiles, for new product launches.Collaborate with internal team and external partners to "productize" and accelerate solutioning/use case development and process across SoftBank's product portfolio.Support leadership to create customer-facing presentations, case studies, training materials, and product education content for new products and special projects.Travel up to 40% during product launch events to support robot deployments, meet with customers, and attend industry events.Requirements

BA or BS degree.1-3 years go-to-market, product marketing, product management, consulting, and/or corporate/product strategy experienceExperience conducting qualitative and quantitative market research and analysis, competitive landscaping, and product positioningIntellectually curious problem solver who doesn't mind rolling up the sleeves to understand how to use a new hardware or software product and deliver valueCapable of managing multiple concurrent projects in an organized and efficient mannerComfortable leading engagements with external and internal stakeholders and building relationships and consensusProficient in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel).Nice to have but not required - SQL, Sigma, PowerBI, or other database and analysis skills; working proficiency to speak read Japanese and/or Mandarin Chinese.Benefits
