Interactive Film is a dynamic and innovative production studio under Snail, Inc. dedicated to creating compelling and engaging short-form narrative content such as web series, FMV, etc. We are committed to delivering high-quality entertainment to audiences worldwide.Job Description:We are seeking a talented and imaginative screenwriter to join our team and help develop original screenplays for our short-form vertical web series. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, a strong command of narrative structure, and a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by vertical video formats. This contractor position offers an initial term of engagement, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time, salaried role based on performance and mutual interest.Responsibilities:Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and develop original ideas for short form vertical web series across a variety of genres, including drama, romance, sci-fi and more.

Write engaging and visually dynamic screenplays that are optimized for vertical viewing on digital platforms such as mobile devices and social media.

Craft compelling characters, dialogue, and plot twists that resonate with our target audience, conform to the short-form web series format, and keep viewers hooked from start to finish.

Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to ensure that the vision for each project is brought to life on screen in a creative and cohesive manner.

Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in short form content creation, including new storytelling techniques, editing styles, and platform-specific features.

Requirements:2+ years of experience as a screenwriter, with a portfolio of original screenplays and produced projects that showcase your storytelling skills and creative vision.

Proficiency in writing for short-form content formats, with a deep understanding of how to structure narratives and engage audiences within the constraints of vertical video.

Excellent command of the English language, including strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to creative feedback and revisions.

Passion for experimentation and innovation, with a willingness to push creative boundaries and explore new storytelling techniques in the digital landscape.
