PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE:

To research, develop, and deliver retail bank products and services and to coordinate the delivery of those products in all First Independent Bank branches and promote branch growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve goals and objectives.Coordinates the planning, designing, delivery/implementation of all facets of various marketing and promotional campaigns used to promote growth and attract new customers and deposits.Performs customer needs analysis and competitive assessments of the industry products and makes recommendations to management of changes needed.Continuously reviews, refines, and develops the bank’s retail product and service offerings.Meets on a regular basis with branch managers and staff to train and plan delivery of the bank’s retail products and services.Meets on a regular basis with senior management to ensure that sufficient resources are available to deliver the bank’s retail products and services and to determine proper pricing of same.Meets on a regular basis with operations/audit/compliance to “streamline” the bank’s delivery of retail products and services. Reviews and critiques the operational and technical delivery of retail products and services.Coordinates a bank presence at trade shows and community/ business events (e.g. Chamber of Commerce, etc.) to help establish banks presence within local markets.Develops and coordinates a plan to provide incentive for all bank staff to sell retail products and services.Ensures that First Independent Bank promotional pieces present a consistent theme and look.Performs regular updates to bank’s intranet, website, and social media activities.Manages inventory of bank promotional supplies, business cards, letterhead, and printed materials, etc.

Bachelor’s degree in a field related to financial services or marketing or equivalent work experience preferred. Strong competencies in marketing, networking, and establishing relationships. Basic knowledge of deposit accounts, loans, and credit.
