Design Associate and Account Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Account Coordinator with a robust design background to join our dynamic Client Development team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This client-facing role involves supporting account management tasks, assisting with client communications, and coordinating design-related projects. Key Responsibilities:Client Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing project updates, and ensuring an elevated level of client satisfaction.Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects and deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and accurately.Design Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to understand client needs, review design concepts, and provide feedback.In-Person Engagements: Attend client meetings and presentations, bringing design samples and materials as needed to facilitate discussions and decisions.Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, project details, and other information.Reporting: Prepare data and presentations using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for internal and client meetings.Administrative Tasks: Manage scheduling, handle correspondence, and perform other administrative duties as required. Utilize our Zoho CRM for opportunity entry and project tracking.

Qualifications:(Preferred) Education: associate or bachelor's degree in interior design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Or Associates degree in Design.Experience: 1-2 years of experience in interior design, account management, customer service, or a related role. Experience in a design-related environment is preferred.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Basic understanding of design principles, codes, and terminology.Attributes:Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Enthusiastic and motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.

Preferred Skills:Familiar with design software such as CAD, Revit, CET is a plus.Previous experience in a client-facing role.
