More about what your day-to-day may look like:Facilitate the design of new products for vehicle wash equipment.Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for various applicationsSupport engineering changes made to existing vehicle wash equipment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, software, and other systemsCollaborate with Technical Service Representatives:to ensure customer feedback is included in product developmentto educate the Technical Service Representatives on releases and upgradesWork on the creation and assembly of prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.Manage costing and deadlines associated with new designs.Apply innovative thinking to solve complex engineering problems.Engage in hands-on work to prototype and refine designs.Develop 3D models and 2D drawings that accurately represent the design specifications.Develop documentation for our manuals, sales literature, training program, and website.Choose appropriate components based on project requirements, functionality, and reliability.Collaborate with suppliers to source components that meet design specifications and quality standards.Coordinate in-house and field testing of vehicle wash equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.Demonstrated enthusiasm for engineering and a drive to achieve resultsAnalyze RMA (warranty) data to identify trends associated with component issues.Ability to work in a dynamic and inclusive work environment that encourages growth and innovationThe chance to work on groundbreaking projects that make a real impact.

QualificationsChampioning attitude regarding customer serviceProven ability to engage in hands-on work, including prototyping, testing, and troubleshootingStrong drive to develop and implement creative solutions, with a track record of innovation and inventiveness.Ability to effectively manage and prioritize projectsStrong capability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelComfortable and skilled in interacting directly with customers and suppliers to understand requirements and provide solutionsMinimum 3 years Mechanical Design experienceSolid model and 2D drawing software experienceAssociate degree in Mechanical Design or similar degree
