Responsibilities

The Signs Project Manager & Estimator is responsible for estimating and coordinating projects to see that service and quality objectives are fulfilled. He/she helps to manage the customers’ experience with the company and its employees. Assist with and accept delegated tasks from the Sales Manager, working closely with the Production Manager and Installers to lead successful project outcomes. Other duties may be assigned, that may or may not include the following: Meet with customers, conduct site surveys and project assessments, producing estimates, secure necessary permits, pick-up & delivery of materials, supplies, signs, etc., file & proof coordination, follow-up on proofing with customers, installation supervision, final billing and project closeouts.

Communicate and coordinate task details with multiple sales agents and Production team.

Respond quickly to inbound phone, email, chat, and in-person communication from clients, potential clients, and vendors.

Create and send quotes to clients

Maintain organization of project records, digital & physical

Manage multiple projects through the sales & production processes, ensuring target deadlines and quality standards are met or exceeded

Qualifications

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Possess a valid Driver's License and Proof of insurance. Must have a reliable vehicle.

Minimum of three years experience in the position of Project Manager / Estimator for company of comparable size or equivalent experience.

Excellent communication skills, including ability to present and speak in public.

Ability to exercise integrity at the moment of choice, thinking and reasoning strategically.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret job estimates and reports.

Advanced computer skills including software, hardware, programs, and application.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, gross margin, mark-up, commissions, percentages, area, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as map reading, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak English effectively with customers, employees, or the public in general.
