We are trying to find Media Designer to join our Marketing team. You will report to the Communications Manager and be responsible for promoting Blum products and services to our sales team, kitchen & bath designers, Blum customers and the general public by creating literature and marketing materials.

Job Responsibilities

Create, design and develop graphics and other materials for trade shows, events, customer activities, etc.Works collaboratively with marketing associates to produce marketing materials as requestedManage projects from concept to printOrganize, maintain and archive hard copy material and electronic files according to department proceduresConduct editing and consistency checks for style and formatting accuracyCreate and maintain internal branding and marketing materialsMaintain productive relationships with all printer and vendor suppliersPossess the ability to adjust between technical and creative projects as requiredTechnical – Experience using Adobe Creative Suite software with proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and AcrobatTechnical – Proficient in Microsoft applications and strong computer skillsTrustworthy – Experience working with proprietary materials a plusTime Management – Strong organizational and time management skills and an ability to establish prioritiesOpenness – Enjoy learning the various technical specifications of a diverse product offeringOpenness – Ability and willingness to learn new softwareSelf-structure – Ability to work independently and with others in a team atmosphereCreativity – Creatively plan and translate abstract concepts into effective visual formThoroughness – Strong focus and attention to detail with a keen eye for consistency and high standard of excellenceThoroughness – Resourceful when searching for answers and solutionsCommunication – Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGregariousness – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service orientationJob Requirements

Minimum 2 years prior experience as Graphic Designer producing company specific technical catalogs, brochures, leaflets, and/or product bulletins is requiredKitchen design experience a plusPrior experience working in the kitchen cabinet industry and associated markets is helpfulDesign – knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools, and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical drawingsComputers – knowledge of computer hardware and software applications including Adobe: InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft: Word, Excel, and PowerPointEffective verbal & written communication skillsTaking a systematic approach to solving problems by analyzing all relevant facts/issues before determining the root causeEstablish & maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as key customers that support the businessAbility to teach in a classroom or workshop environmentMeet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy & attention to detailProficient in Microsoft applications & ability to learn new software quicklyInspecting & evaluating the quality of work producedStrong organizational & time management skills & an ability to establish prioritiesBenefits
