Care.com is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager, SEO to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a data-focused Product Manager who has experience developing and shipping products that help drive user acquisition and also create meaningful value for our web users, focused on logged-out visitor experience. Experience in a Marketplace or Ecommerce is a plus.

Position Overview:

You are a product leader who wants to drive user acquisition, activation, and revenue growth for our products. Each day you will lead cross-functional initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights and experimentation to optimize user experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and data analytics to deliver impactful growth initiatives that enhance customer lifetime value. Care.com is seeking an experienced, results-driven Product Manager. This person will support our two-sided marketplace and will help improve our ability to consistently help families who have care needs to discover providers who can fulfill those needs.

Note : This position is based in either Dallas,TX or Austin, TX, and will be hybrid in office 3 days per week (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday)

What You'll Do:Develop and own the product roadmap that drives the group's charter of growing Care's organic visibility and performanceDeeply understand our consumers (users and Google Bot), their problems, where they find value, and consistently strive to improve our tools and technology to drive growthTranslate SEO opportunities into product initiatives in a structured way, from developing hypotheses to running scrappy experiments to validate your thinkingOwn and build a roadmap based on cross-functional objectives and key results that builds momentum, and inspires passion in the engineering team you'll lead in partnership with the Engineering Manager.Lead cross-functional initiatives when there are dependencies beyond your team's domain.Develop a deep understanding of all organic metrics in the marketplace so you're always making data-driven decisions that properly balance short-term revenue and long-term value.Ruthlessly prioritize the most impactful things so you're always learning what's best for our customersWho You Are:

Experienced problem solver:

you have 3-5 years of product experience, including leadership of an engineering team. If not direct Product Management experience, you have experience in SEO, data and solving problems for customers and leading teams to build solutions.Deeply curious:

you operate with a sense of urgency and always look for new ways to understand our customers and create value on their behalf.Data-fluent:

you use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are capable of inventing and using new metrics to learn and make decisions. You are excited to dive deep into the data using analytical tools and SQL.Biased for action : you make good decisions with incomplete data and are constantly optimizing for learning. You find creative ways around blockers and always have an option for what's next and never an excuse for why you can't proceed.A bar raiser : you inspire others to bring their 'A' game and are constantly looking for opportunities for improvement. You don't accept "because that is the way we've always done it."An owner : you can seamlessly straddle thinking about both the product and the business and are equally comfortable talking about funnel metrics and P+L's. You never say "that is not my job."A compelling story-teller:

you use both qualitative and quantitative data to influence key stakeholders, inspire your team, and you can tailor your message to your audience.Collaborative partner:

you are able to build strong relationships, you are a servant leader to your engineering team, and you seamlessly juggle priorities of multiple stakeholders.

Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.

Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.

The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
