Job Description
Pratt Industries is currently seeking a Design Assistant to work closely with the Design department andDesigners in creating samples, cutting samples and auditing of incoming tooling of Corrugated boxes forcustomers.
The design assistant is an entry level position. A successful candidate will show enthusiasm towardsthe job, towards design and is a good multi-tasker and self-motivated.
The Design department is a fast-paced, tight deadline environment and this individual will haveimportant responsibilities. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and deal withpressure well. There is a lot of paperwork and computer use. Successful candidates should have a strongcomputer/pc background and demonstrated clerical/administrative responsibilities as well. Thepaperwork is critical and cannot contain errors, as it involves filling out purchase orders for productiontooling.
Candidates with previously corrugated experience are preferred.
Full time position, hours will be first shift with some over time as needed.
