WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our

Kitchen & Bath Designer

you have a passion for being creative and enjoy working with customers through the entirety of the Mans sales process - how fun is that? You will facilitate the Mans sales process with both builder and retail clients from consulting, design development, presentation, and delivery follow-up. You will put your advanced computer-aided drafting skills to use while utilizing 20/20 Design Software, in addition to using your immense knowledge of product categories such as: cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, sinks, faucets, etc.

THE NITTY GRITTYWork in the showroom or design center with retail and builder clients.

Designated showroom time as required.

Work alongside an amazing team to both design and facilitate the purchase of new orders, doing the best of both worlds: design and sales!

Ability to build rapport through walk-in customers and call on potential customers.Greet clients to the design center, assess clients' needs, and assist the customer with product selectionConduct pre-construction site inspections and measurementsUtilize 20/20 Design Software in the design phase to create exciting project drawings.Create PowerPoint presentation for clients.Create and review sign off package with client and secure appropriate signature.Arrange project schedules, sub-contractor schedules, and material deliveries: act as the liaison between the customer, material vendors, and sub-contractors.

Assist with marketing activities, such as mailings, trade shows, and conferences.Assist with activities that will potentially increase sales, including but not limited to Mans promotions, Parade of Homes, and home shows.WHAT YOU NEED

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in interior design, or a related field3 - 5+ years of experience in the fieldExperience with 20/20 Design SoftwareInterpersonal Skills:

A strong steward of Mans culture and core valuesRecognized as an organization leader - have commanding presence and are able to inspire/influence others.Ability to flex in and out of multiple projects at once.Possess an influencing presence internally and communicate ideas in a way that persuades others to buy-in and take-action (both written and verbal)Deep understanding of business acumen, and a natural strategic thinkerAbility to quickly learn, use and adapt to many different software programs.Strong

communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines (well, not really fax machines).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role is frequently in and out of the office. This role requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position: days and hours of the week are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with schedule flexibility. You will be out of the office around 1 day per week, 15%+ of your work year.
