Price Modern is looking for experienced designers with GSA experience to add to our Baltimore or DC area teams. Our Designers provide design and consultative services to clients and internal sales staff. They are valued professional members of the team, bringing knowledge, aesthetics, and creative ideas that improve company results through workstyles, trends, products, and space.Price Modern offers a competitive benefit package including:Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage optionsSupplemental Insurance plansHealth and Dependent Savings Plan optionsCompany Paid Life and Disability Plans401KESOPGenerous PTO programPaid Family LeaveFlexible SchedulingPet InsuranceLong Term Care OptionsRoles & Responsibilities:Attends client meetings / planning sessions to review project scope and assess programming needsReview documents and analyze building plans / site conditions to assure accurate space representationConducts field measurements, existing furniture inventories, and codes analysisDevelops / presents space plans and furniture typicals that address the programming / needs analysisSelects / develops / presents color and finish options including finish presentation boxes (as needed)Responsible for the development and accuracy of project drawings and furniture specificationsRequired to self-check all project documents (drawings / specs / renderings) produced by design prior to being issued to the team or client. Incorporate all changes received from drawing / spec check setsAssists in obtaining client written / signature approvals on all final plansResponsible for transmitting complete and accurate project documentation to the team for order entry and installationProvides working drawings to third party contractors as needed (A&D firm, GC, electrical sub, IT, etc.)Reviews final install with project manager and updates drawings with 'as-built' conditions for recordAble to estimate time to complete project scope of work for budgetary purposes and complete a weekly timesheet for accurate billingFluent in AutoCAD, CET designer Revit, and Project SpecWorking knowledge of codes, ADA, ergonomics, technology integration, LEED, Well BuildingParticipates in company lead / industry events and A&D eventsCollaborates with internal departments and external resources on project scopeProvides timely, complete information for clients / vendorsAttends or seeks out training opportunities to support account and personal growthExtensive knowledge of product lines, features, application, and technical capabilitiesWorking knowledge of all Price Modern / Client roles and processesOther duties as assignedTraining, Education, Experience, Skills:Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or similar field3-5 years commercial furniture sales experience or similar (8-10 years for Sr. Designer)Exceptional attention to detail and a great listenerFast-paced work environment with simultaneous projects and challenging deadlinesAbility to learn and adapt to new software technologiesProficient skills in Project Spec and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Desire to work in a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented environmentWorking Conditions:

This is a Hybrid office role (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH), with a full-time in-office requirement during initial trainings. Occasional client site visits should be expected.
