Come build the first distributed utility with us, propelling the biggest energy transformation of our lifetime!The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Technical Writer with proven experience to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products and platforms. You will be part of the Engineering/Product Development team, writing descriptive manuals and guides for a wide range of audiences. Moxion’s products users include individual/enterprise customers, customer-services, operations managers, technicians, partners, service managers, and account managers. You will be responsible for support and coordination for developing and disseminating informational materials by collaborating with the product managers, engineering managers, operations managers, technicians, and other internal users. Your duties include researching topics, interviewing subject matter experts, writing documents, and editing work for publications.What You'll Do:Create complete systems documentation for customer usageCreate service and warranty documentationCreate vehicle labeling compliant with government and industry standardsDevelop Moxion customer promotional fliers and presentation materialSkills to be Successful:Strong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and be a self-starterAbility to check all technical material for consistency and accuracyIndependently gather information from technical and non-technical Subject Matter Experts to develop, organize and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentsFamiliarity with technical documentsAbility to prepare, review, revise and maintain technical documentationExperience creating and using infographics such as diagrams, screenshots, charts, workflows, and graphics that increase users’ understanding.Develop and maintain templates for written documentation ensuring a consistent “look and feel” and meets and exceeds the company standards and client expectations.Nice to haves:Knowledge or expertise in energy, fleet management, or EV industryKnowledge of 3D CAD software preferably SolidworksExperience with creating 3D CAD exploded views of assembliesAt Moxion you get:Health, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, competitive equity & compensation packages, free coffee and snacks, flexible work from home policy, access to Mountain Hardware, Columbia, Sorel, & Prana employee stores and discounts, credit to company swag store, investment in professional development courses, and parental leave program.We Value:People are at the core of Moxion’s values.
