Overview

At our rapidly growing company, we are seeking an exceptional Communications Manager to guide the strategy and lead the execution of Prove’s corporate PR efforts in the U.S. and globally. This role will be bringing together cross functional partners and must feel comfortable managing complexity and relationships across many areas of the business including executive leadership team, human resources, investor relations and brand marketing & PR teams.

Responsibilities

Build Prove’s corporate PR strategy from concept to execution, including refining messaging, running executive briefings, crafting campaigns, and writing story pitches.

Assist in executing corporate and executive communications strategies across internal and external channels, including media prep, messaging development, speech writing, social media postings, and internal materials.

Develop and execute communication strategies in a changing environment, including instances of crisis.

Leverage data and insights to measure communications impact and further development of strategy.

Qualifications

5+ years of in-house or VC corporate communications experience with an established public company or fast-growing startup.

A proven record building PR programs in-house from scratch, including experience in executive communications.

Proven ability to learn quickly with a knack for breaking down complex concepts.

Demonstrated comfort working in fast-growing, fast-paced companies where “figuring it out” is more important than “sticking to the process.”

A passion for creative storytelling and an aversion for cookie-cutter PR tactics.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
